Thank you just doesn’t seem enough for a man
who gave so much to our Association.
John MacLeod has been a board member since 2012 and served as President in 2015.
During 2015:
- John attending more than 100 meetings – committee, executive board, finance, board of directors, Realcomp, GLR and more!
- He attended several Michigan Realtor® and NAR events
- He attended many LCAR educational classes
Under his leadership:
- LCAR obtained NAR approval for the first NAR Core Standards for all Associations
- Succeeded in securing a new Shareholder agreement with our MLS, Realcomp and joined the Great Lakes Repository for data sharing
In addition to keeping up with industry news, John sought input from our members. He could always be found helping out with all the events/programs run by the Association, i.e. Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army, the Annual Golf Outing, collecting money & food for Fill The Gazebo Food Drive, just to name a few.
Last but not least, members that attended the Christmas Party agreed that John arranged the best Christmas Party ever!!
